श्रुतिस्मृतिपुराणानामालयं करुणालयम् ।
नमामि भगवत्पादं शङ्करं लोकशङ्करम् ॥.
अपारकरुणासिन्धुं ज्ञानान्दं शान्त रूपिणम् ।

With boundless reverence, we bow at the lotus feet of our Gurus and their sacred Guru Parampara, and offer our heartfelt pranams to our Kula Devatas, Ishta Devatas, and the eternal thirty-three Vedic Devas — the cosmic guardians whose blessings sanctify every auspicious endeavour of our lives.
We cherish with deep humility the immeasurable privilege of belonging to Sanātana Dharma, an eternal civilization as boundless as existence & as old as time itself.
We bow in reverential gratitude to the great Rishis whose luminous wisdom continues to guide humanity, and to those countless fearless guardians of Dharma who, against formidable adversities and the relentless tide of time, preserved and carried forward this sacred legacy — so that we, even today, may walk proudly within its eternal embrace.

This pavitra samskara marks the sacred juncture wherein the Groom, the Vara undergoes his antaranga suddhi, stepping forth from his brahmacharya asrama into the luminous threshold of the Vivaha maṇḍapa — prepared in body, mind, and atman to receive his dharmapatni)
